Project Peanut Butter is run by Dr. Mark Manary, professor of pediatrics at Washington University’s School of Medicine. He developed a revolutionary treatment called Plumpy Nut that is the most successful in treating malnourished children. PPB works with families in Malawi and Sierra Leone, among the world’s poorest countries with the highest rates of childhood mortality.

In addition, PPB is extremely well run so that over 95% of the money raised goes to fulfilling its mission. That is why The World Food Programme and UNICEF assist PPB.
