Posted by: Trina January 24, 2012 Not sure what to do with all those empty PUFFS containers? You are already storing art supplies in them but now you can make an art project with them too. These are perfect for a indoor craft project on those cold winter days when you can't get outside. You can even make a few so the children can have a Penguin Family.
These Penguins are simple to make, all items you may even have in your art supply cabinet at home or can easily be bought at your local craft or dollar store. Materials 1 - HAPPYPUFFS Container (more if you want a family) Black Streamers Orange, Black and White Felt Scrap Fabric for scarf Wiggle eyes Glue Paint Brush
Directions Add a bit of water to the glue so it seems more like a paint consistency. With the paint brush spread the glue all over the base of the PUFF container. Wrap the black streamers all around until it's totally covered. With the felt cut out web feet and beak with the orange, black wings and white belly. With the same glue, paste those items on the penguin in the appropriate places. Let dry and then play with your new winter friend for hours! This would be a perfect craft to do with a group of children. Do you belong to a Play Group or MOMS Club? Have a local HAPPYMAMA come by and do a HAPPYFAMILY tasting, pass out coupons and do the craft with your children. To find out where we have HAPPYMAMA's take a peek on our website.
