The birth of a child is one of the most joyful events in a couple’s life. Prior to a baby’s arrival, most parents-to-be imagine being greeted by their infant’s smiling face, holding their sleeping baby, and playing with their happy child. The realities of sleepless nights, fighting with their spouse, postpartum depression, and diminished sex drive catch most couples by surprise. While new parents expect some sort of change, they often don’t expect it to feel like a bomb has gone off in their relationship. The arrival of a new family member (whether by surrogacy, adoption, or birth) shakes most couples to the core. It forces partners to redefine their roles, divide new chores, and often creates financial stress. All this takes place while learning how to care for a helpless person who cannot clearly communicate his needs. No wonder 83 percent of parents reported going through a moderate to severe crisis in the transition to parenthood!

Tomorrow on August 10th, moms across the country will join together, pushing strollers, to make a very important point: We shouldn’t have to worry about toxic chemicals in our homes, drinking water and environment! Will you join us? You won’t need to walk far - it’s not a statement of endurance (though I’m sure you’d go miles and miles to protect your child). You’ll just meet-up, maybe fill out some post cards, let your kids dress up in red capes (to make the point that we need some superheroes in Congress to protect our health), and generally have some fun for a good cause.

With summer coming to a close and the school year approaching fast we thought a Twitter Party was in order and the theme is "Back to School". We want everyone to jump in the conversation and tell us what your favorite healthy snacks and lunch ideas are, how do you keep your child focused on homework instead of playing, what are the best books around this season and what music do you think is the most educational and fun!

Since our first Twitter Party was so successful we wanted to Tweet again with our online friends. Since Summer is just around the corner our party theme will be.. Summer FUN for our HAPPYbabies and HAPPY kids! So start thinking about all the fun activites you do with your family, and fun summer HEALTHY foods that you makes with your children, so you can share your tips and ideas with the rest of us.

A healthy family = HAPPYFAMILY! We all want the best for our families. What does "the best" mean to you? Going green? Only buying organic? Keeping your home environmentally friendly? Giving back to your community? Since joining your community I am sure you can tell that our mission isn't just selling our products but that HAPPYBABY wants to feed your mind as well as your tummy. We have amazing HAPPYMAMA's throughout the United States that work in their personal communities helping us spread the word about healthy nutrition. These great ladies give baby food and picky eaters seminars, sampling parties, cooking classes for tots and preschoolers, and pass out our coupons and samples at community events.
