Great Greens for babies and beyond!

Introduce your baby to the world of greens with the help of some sweet fruit flavors. Great for babies 7 months and older. If you have a older child don't you go anywhere...This recipe can be used with older children, mixing it into Oatmeal, Smoothies, Ice Pops, French Toast mix, Pancake mix...the list can go on and on.

Great Greens

Ingredients

3 medium organic pears

3 cups of organic spinach

1 large mango

Make It:

1.  Wash, peel, core and chop the pears.
2.  Wash, peel and chop mango.
3.  Wash spinach, discard any hard stems and chop up the leaves.
4. Steam the chopped pears for about 4 minutes or until it’s tender.
5.  Steam spinach for 3 minutes, transfer into a bowl and press out any extra water.
6.  Puree the cooked pear, the mango and the cooked spinach in a food processor or blender.
7.  You can freeze it in an ice cube tray for up to 6 month.

Clean It:

Make sure to buy organic produce to avoid exposure to synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. Mangoes, however, have low levels of pesticides, so those can be bought conventionally.

Green It:

Avoid plastic by storing your homemade baby food in glass or stainless steel containers.
