Jessica is passionate about the intersection of business and social responsibility. When Jessica first connected with Shazi, she was inspired by Shazi’s vision to create a socially responsible business by giving babies the best start in life with fresh, organic food. Jessica has long dreamed of helping to create a business venture that positively impacts people's lives.
Her career includes working for the greater good in non-profits and government. She was a member of the Full Circle Fund, a Bay Area philanthropic organization, and currently serves as a trustee for RSF Social Finance, an organization which lends to socially responsible ventures.
Jessica was awarded the Park Leadership Fellowship, a full-tuition merit scholarship to Cornell University’s Johnson School of Business, and received her MBA from Cornell in 2004. Before joining Shazi in 2005, Jessica worked onsite at the national office of Whole Foods Market in Austin Texas as the account manager for SPINS, the leading information provider for the natural products industry.
Jessica lives in Boise, Idaho with her husband Decker and welcomed their first HAPPYBABY Leland in June.
