Shazi first created her vision for convenient, healthy meals for babies and children as she listened
with a compassionate ear to a friend's anguish about the difficulty of finding the time to make her own baby food between caring
for her baby, keeping up with her work, and all of the other demands of her very full life. A passionate supporter of health,
wellness and sustainability, Shazi was saddened by the choices for parents when it came to store-bought baby food. There had to |
|
be a better way, so she dedicated herself to finding it. "I strongly feel that food is the best preventative
medicine. With HAPPYBABY, I feel like I am doing my part in paving the way for healthier lives.
I believe that babies who eat foods that taste and look fresh develop healthy cravings that keep their bodies on
track for healthy happy lives."
Prior to dedicating herself to HAPPYBABY, Shazi founded and ran a marketing and media buying consultancy to help small business grow their brands.

Her desire to utilize her talents to make a difference in the world coupled with her entrepreneurial nature took her to business school where she began developing what is now HAPPYBABY.
Shazi holds a BA from Columbia University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
She grew up on homemade baby food.
